Last night - or more like this extremely early morning, we decided to go hike up to Mt. Si for sunrise. Adrie, Jenya and I got our flashlights and headed out on the journey. I had a miserable amount of sleep the day before, so by this time I was tired and sleepy, not to mention SCARED FOR MY LIFE!! I mean it was a hike up the dark forested hill, there could be bears, cougars and I don't know what other kinds of creature lurking out there. I prayed all the way up that we do not meet any of those mentioned above, and luckily to my great happiness we did not! Phew. It's true I'm always the scardy-cat, I went in the middle so that I wouldn't get attacked lol, and if there were any suspicious sounds, I'd hide behind Jenya. Lol. I'm glad we got to the top safely. The night sky was beautifull and we could even point out a few constilations - well more like one the scorpio. I need to brush up on my star knowledge. Unfortunatly it was cold out there, and soon enough we were starting to freeze in our wait for the sunrise. Thankfully Jenya's mom made us a lot of sandwhiches which we wolfed down, there is no other word to describe the hunger with wich we ate them. :P
When it was finally getting lighter, we got so cold, Jenya made a fire - so we could get warmed by it. It was a brilliant idea, and the rest of our wait for the sunrise was uneventful. After taking a bunch of pictures it was time to go down - but by this time we were all so tired and sleepy, we have stopped on our way down to nap like three times! D:
I'm glad this adventure ended peacefully - I do not think I will be venturing out into the mountains for a hike at night again, well unless I ofcourse have a lot of muscular males with me. ;)
I'm so sleepy now.
